Counseling & Consulting Services
All counseling and consulting services are primarily conducted virtually. Arrangements for in-person sessions can be made upon request. Once your appointment has been scheduled, an email confirmation will be sent to the email address you provided. It will contain a link for your personal session. Please do not forward this link as it is unique to you.
Payment & Fees
Day of Birth, LLC accepts payment at the time of service. Payment may be securely remitted here.
Sliding scale fees are available on a case by case basis. All necessary documentation must accompany your request and/or incoming referral. Insurance plans are not accepted at this time.
All sessions are priced at a flat rate and are based on the following time increments:
INITIAL CONSULTATION
Up To 90 Minutes
This is the first time clients are able to meet—in person or telehealth—with a licensed clinical counselor. We will discuss current issues and/or concerns, talk about strategies and overall goals for therapy and/or treatment.
INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING
60 Minutes
A person-centered process through which clients work directly with a licensed clinical counselor to create meaning-making opportunities for personal development and inner growth in a safe and confidential setting.
PRE-MARITAL + MARRIAGE COUNSELING
90 Minutes
A specialized type of therapy that offers the benefit of identifying any potential areas of conflict with couples who are in a committed relationship and/or are strongly considering marriage. The goal is to address these issues before they become serious and teach partners effective strategies for communication and conflict resolution.
Empowerment Coaching
30 minutes | 60 minutes
A specialized non-therapeutic investment in helping clients to improve their overall quality of life by building self-awareness, self-confidence, and self esteem. Clients are informed, inspired, equipped and empowered to pursue their God-given purpose boldly and unashamedly.
Contemplative Meditation + Spiritual Grounding
30 minutes | 60 minutes
A time of spiritually-centered observation and inner listening with the goal of receiving divine wisdom and insight from The Holy Spirit. Guided meditations will include a topic of focus, a correlating scripture and specific questions that will curate a deeply contemplative experience.
Spiritual Grounding is offered as an optional precedent to Contemplative Meditation. It allows clients to bring their entire body into centered alignment with the presence of The Holy Spirit. Clients are assisted with achieving optimal undistracted attention by placing particular focus on breath, attunement to head and heart, stillness, silence and intentional listening.
Spiritual Cleansing + Releasing Prayer
30 minutes | 60 minutes
In this focused time of prayer, clients are gently guided in how to experience spiritual and emotional cleansing from weighty concerns or taxing issues in their lives. They are also guided in releasing toxic emotions, i.e. offense, unforgiveness, bitterness, rage, resentment etc., that can prevent us from living healthily and freely.
Communal Counseling + Support
90 minutes
Our support groups are offered to people with common experiences or concerns and who provide each other with attentive presence, encouragement and comfort in a safe, confidential setting. Participants are invited to their personal experiences, strategies for coping and resource information.
Pre-registration is required and sessions are limited to 12 persons. At the time of registration, each attendee will be asked to remit the flat group rate, which includes admittance, materials, access to additional resources and a complimentary initial consultation.

*Clergy Companions is a support group for licensed and ordained clergy only. Gender specific groups are available.
*Domestic Abuse +/or Sexualized Violence support groups are gender specific and age appropriate.
*Grief + Loss support groups are offered at age appropriate levels.
Referrals
All requests for outgoing referrals may be reviewed upon request and must be submitted in writing.
